EDMONTON DOWNTOWN’S NEWEST GREEN SPACE
Located on the northwest corner of 105 Street and 102 Avenue, sits the newly opened Alex Decoteau Park. This park, named after the first Aboriginal Police Officer in Canada, features an off leash dog park, in ground water fountains, public art and community gardens. Alex Decoteau Park will be downtown Edmonton’s first green space in 30 years. The design committee was made up of area businesses and residents who worked in close consultation with the City of Edmonton.
